ABOUT THE BRAND 

 

What is so special about Slash Brand? 

Slash Brand is a French label, designed by Monika Jadach and produced in Europe, in small limited editions, with knowledge of traditional sewing techniques, respecting sustainability and fair production.

Each piece is designed and sewn with special care and attention to details, craftsmanship and a well thought production intended to make them last.

 

In which way your designs are sustainable?

Our collections are eco-friendly made of sustainable, high quality French, Italian and Japanese luxury materials. We are working with stock materials of Parisian luxury fashion houses that otherwise would have been burnt. Upcycling them allows protecting the environment from polluting as well as saving water and energy by eliminating the manufacturing of raw materials.

 

What about fair production?

A high quality garment should be designed, manufactured in an environment which is respectful of the individual, of the society and the nature. 

All Slash Brand designs are sewn ethically, either in our Parisian atelier or by our partner, an ethical manufacturer in Poland, Europe. Together we work side by side, keeping a close relation while working on a sample or a limited edition, always following every step of the production process.

 

PRE-ORDERS

Are your designs ready-to-ship or do you make them once the order is placed?

We do both. You will find in the e-boutique 2 selections: the “Ready-to-ship” section and the “Pre-orders” section.

 

How the pre-orders work? 

Every Wednesday at 5pm a new design is introduced to pre-order.

Once the new design is released you have a maximum of 2 weeks to order it, as orders will only be opened until the fabric allocated to this design is available.

The quantities of materials with which we work are limited, because they come from stock materials of Parisian luxury fashion houses. For this reason the number of pieces that we can produce is limited. As well, once an item is gone, it is gone for good and can’t be reproduced.

Some of the materials come in very small quantities. To be sure to get the design you are interested in, be among the first to visit our e-boutique and order it. Every item from the pre-orders is made only when you order it.

Your order is ready for shipment between 2 weeks and 1 month from your order. Pre-orders are offered exclusively in our e-boutique.

Can I order made to mesure?

Yes. When pre-ordering you can choose a standard size or send me your measurement to have it made to measure. Each piece is made-on-demand, just for you.

How often will you launch new designs?

Every Wednesday at 5PM we release new designs in both categories: pre-order and ready to ship.

The ready to ship design are either one-of-a kind pieces, or short, limited productions of one size per design.

Make sure to sign up for email messages and follow @slash_brand to stay up on the latest designs released.

 

How long is a design available?

Each design on pre-order is available a maximum of 2 weeks from it’s release, as long as its fabric is available.

Because the quantities of materials we use are limited, once a fabric is gone, it is gone for good and the design made with it cannot be reproduced.

 

How do I find what design will you launch next?

The best way to find out what are the next designs to be dropped is to sign up for our email message notifications. Sign up for notifications here, and I'll let you know about each and every new launch. You can subscribe or unsubscribe to email messages anytime.

 

Do you really make it just for me? 

Yes! We make each piece only when you order it, this way we don't produce more than we need, allowing to reduce waste and overproduction.

 

An item sold out before the planned 2 weeks. Why?

Each design is produced from materials that come in limited quantities. Once the orders cover the selected fabric, it is not possible to produce more and the pre-orders for this model are closed.

Can I return an item I purchased made to order? 

Yes, If you are not 100% satisfied with your order you may return any Slash Brand design, purchased in our e-boutique, within 7 days after receipt of the order for a full refund or within 21 days for an exchange, or a store credit.

SIZING QUESTIONS

What size should I order?

In order to choose the size that will fit you best, take your measurement referring to the Size Chart available here. You can as well watch by clicking here videos that answers the most common questions I receive about sizing. If you still have questions, please write to me, I will be happy to assist you.

 

Can I place a custom size order?

Yes, while pre-ordering you can choose a custom size. Proceed with choosing “custom” size and sending me your size measurements required for the purchased design at monika@slashbrand.com.

This option is only available for pre-order designs, as the ready-to-ship items are already sewn and altering them, without seeing you might not be right.

 

Can I return my custom or made to measure design?

Yes, all items purchased in my e-boutique can be returned or exchanged within 7 days after receipt of the order for a full refund or within 21 days for an exchange, or a store credit.

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Where do you ship?

Shipping is available to customers around the world!

 

What are the shipping costs?

The deliveries from Slash Brand e-boutique are free of charge for all shipments in the European Union.

For the rest of the world the shipping fees are as follows:

  • Europe, outside the European Union: 8€
  • America : 20 €
  • Asia : 35 €

 

When will my order ship?

We do our best to deliver the orders as soon as possible. The shipment of the order will be made on average between 1 to 3 working days, starting from the following day the order has been made.
We ship orders on working days: from Monday to Friday, please take this into account when placing orders over the weekend.

Orders that are made on public holidays will also be processed the next opening day.

The pre-ordered items are ready for shipment between 2 and 4 weeks from your order. Once your order is placed, you will receive an email with the estimated date of its delivery and, after its shipment, a second email with the tracking number.

 

How long will it take for me to get my order?

The deliveries within the European Union takes from the date of their shipment from 3 to 7 working days, and from 3 to 10 working days for the rest of the world.

You may track the delivery at any time on the website of our forwarder using the tracking number received by e-mail.

 

Which shipping carriers do you use? 

Your order will be delivered by a forwarder service (DPD, UPS, etc.).

The shipping of masks and small items, like the choker, will be made by postal letter with the tracking number. The price of their delivery to all destinations is included in the price of the item.

As it doesn’t make sense to pay as much for the delivery as for the purchased item, no shipping fees will be applied for the delivery of the ‘small’ items.
